Dave Pickerell's five promises were met for this special edition of Whistle Pig Boss Hog 17 Year Old Cask Strength Rye Whiskey. Canadian rye, aged in American oak for 17 years and finished in north Spanish staves and South American teakwood, makes it powerfully complex, distinct, and of extraordinary quality. These are single barrel expressions, with proof ranging from 105.1-107.8. The bottle is capped with a pewter stopper featuring the pig mascot in traditional Spanish attire. Limited quantities have just been released in the US and Australia.
