This truly Australian gin features the best of Aussie bush tucker. The juniper, although present is restrained and lets the native botanicals shine through. These include Roasted Wattleseed, Lemon Myrtle, Lemon Aspen, Kakadu Plum, Native Blood Lime, Desert Lime, Bush Tomato, Strawberry Cream, Davidson's Plum and Finger Lime. The producers notes say to expect hints of dried plum, limey zest and a unique roasty character along with strawberry and lemon notes.

 

Tasting note: One of the more unusual Australian gins: The nose evokes cloves, peppercorns, green olives, lemon thyme and light brine. Medium bodied with creamy textured flavours of roast herb, clove and coriander seed. To cap off the bush tucker theme, it comes bottled at 50.7% ABV - the same as Australia’s highest recorded temperature at Oodnadatta in 1960.
