Talisker distillery, situated in Carbost, Scotland on the Isle of Skye, is an Island single malt Scotch whisky distillery. Its malted barley is sourced from Muir of Ord, and interestingly, it features swan neck lye pipes. This distinct system collects vapour from the stills and takes it to the worm tubs, allowing part of the alcohol to condense prior to reaching the cooler and re-run into the stills for re-distillation. Presently, Talisker's spirit output amounts to three and a half million litres annually.
