Stolen Spirits was launched from a one-bedroom in the Auckland suburb of Mt Eden in 2010 by Roger Holmes and Jamie Duff after Duff quit his role as a high-powered London-based investment banking lawyer. Stolen Rum Smoked Rum is 37.5% ABV and the world’s very first smoked rum, that’s created using column-distilled Trinidadian rum matured for 2 years in American oak whiskey barrels and blended with Colombian Arabica coffee beans that are roasted that very same day. The result is a warm smokey spirit that’s bursting with complex flavours of coffee, warm caramel, dark chocolate and vanilla, with long-lasting aromas of charred oak for a velvet-smooth finish.
