Discover the essence of Barossa Valley at Rockford in Tanunda, where since the 1980s, Robert O’Callaghan has crafted unforgettable wines. Rockford’s small-scale approach nurtures close relationships with local grape growers and customers, enhancing its unique charm. The historic property exudes an antique ambiance, enriched by the aroma of wine production.

Rockford Basket Press Shiraz, made from 60 to 140-year-old vineyards, showcases Barossa’s diverse terroir. Hand-picked grapes, a 19th-century crusher, open fermentation, and basket pressing, followed by aging in French and American oak, create a wine with rich flavors and depth. Each sip reveals tradition and craftsmanship.

Gary Walsh of The Wine Front awarded it 93 points, highlighting its violet perfume, dark chocolate, toasty oak, and complex finish.
