Nikka Miyagikyo Sherry and Sweet Cask Strength Distillery Release are a rare and highly sought after Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt only released at the Distillery in Sendai, Japan. It's a rare cask release and impossible to find except for those intrepid travelers that make the journey to Sendai for the once-per-year release of the series of single malts. Due to steam heat distillation, whiskies from the Miyagikyo distillery are known to be distinctively mild and fruity compared to the more powerful taste of Yoichi malts. This Miyagikyo bottle was strictly selected from among the finest malts, distilled and matured in a sherry cask. It’s high-quality stuff, like everything else from Nikka.
