It’s made from the classic tropical combination of pineapple and ginger with Master Mary fine rum. Notes of rich natural vanilla, brown sugar, dried fruit, and warming spices with hints of oak, come together to create a perfectly balanced spirit with a smooth finish.

Mary Read (1685-1721), Also known as Mark Read, was arguably one of the most notorious pirates that ever set sail. Masquerading as a man, Mary found employment on a ship and later joined the military, where she proved herself through battle. Upon the death of the reading’s husband, she joined Pirate John “Calico Jack’ Rackham’s crew. Mastering the art of piracy where she again dressed as a man, alongside Anne Bonny, Rackham’s lover. It is said, Rackham invented the Black Skull flag, where the crossed swords represent Anne Bonny and Mary Read, his female accomplices.
