A limited release exclusive to travel retail, The Colour Collection celebrates Macallan's commitment to natural colour and sherry seasoning. This expression in the Colour Collection features whisky that has matured for 21 years in American oak casks seasoned with Sherry wine from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Artist and Graphic Designer David Carson captures the influence of the cask to the fore through an array of rich brown tones that evoke the wood and its toasted, caramel flavours, with a hint of spice. The Macallan Colour Collection 21 Year Old offers flavors of tropical fruits, coffee, hazelnuts and dark chocolate orange, with a natural, warm bronze colour that is evoked by the light oak finish of the presentation box that the whisky is housed in.
