Larks have dabbled in Rum cask matured whiskies before. This is their third bottling and the largest outturn to date, with 1400 bottles produced. The results can work extremely well, especially complimenting a malt as rich as theirs. The distillery launched their own rum in 2008 which in later iterations was marketed as "Quiet Cannon Rum". It left the distillery with a treasure trove of rich, sweet and decadent empty rum casks. They selected the finest of these to finish an extremely limited quantity of Lark whisky. 55% Alc./Vol.
