Tequila Talavera edition is packaged in a ceramic bottle after being aged for a minimum of 1 year in wooden barrels. The bottles are heated and created in ovens at 1260° Celsius, each bottle is a work of art being hand-painted by our artisans in Mexico as a gift for you.
“Talavera” obtains its name because of the pattern of the design painted on the bottle, inspired by the tradition of Talavera de Puebla. Paint should feel slightly raised above the base using colours such as cobalt blue, pink, orange, green, yellow, and red.
The bottles are hand made then baked in an oven to create individual ceramic containers, then a group of Artisans co-operate to bring together the components being bottle, product and artwork.
Good Tequila is a joy to drink with friends responsibly, then you can choose to keep the bottle to repurpose it to hold flowers, or liquid or simply to admire for years to come.
PS For those who have good eyes you can see each actual bottle number on the back of every Talavera style bottle near the base. With this number you can trace your bottle back to the oven agave was baked in to create it, to the artist who painted your bottle and to the actual area of the farm your Blue Weber was harvested from. If you're into that kind of thing.
