It embodies the pre-prohibition look, feel, and taste of whisky. Bottled at 50% alc./vol. like old bourbons, aged for nine years, it's among the oldest Small Batch Bourbons. Extra maturation allows for a richer taste and nose. Tasting note: Deeply coloured with a vanilla and caramel bouquet, pepper and apply-rye adding balance. Muscular with no pretensions, rich corn and oils compete with vanilla and caramel, balancing minty freshness and white pepper. High pitch vanilla and oak in the aftertaste.
