In the spring of 1936, at the age of 27, Thompson Willett founded Willett Distillery and the distillery was erected near the family farm owned by Lambert Willett, Thompson’s dad. Upon completion in the spring of 1937, Willett Distillery produced its first batch of Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey and the descendants of Thompson Willett carry on the family tradition of distilling to this very day. Willett Distillery Johnny Drum Private Stock is a 50.5% ABV Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey featuring notes of sour apple, vanilla, and oak rolls over the palate as a blend of fruit, vanilla and spices, and delivers a premium, complex and well-balanced Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey.
