Part of the Rare Cask Release series from the Highland distillery, this single cask expression is limited to just 722 bottles. Distilled on 6th October 1978 and matured in a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon for 38 years before bottling in November 2016.

38-year-old single malt from Glenglassaugh presented as part of their Rare Cask Release Batch 3 - which featured only whiskies aged over 30 years! This single malt was distilled in October 1978 and bottled in November 2016 following a finishing period in a Pedro Ximenéz Sherry puncheon, resulting in 722 bottles.

Nose: Cedarwood and honeycomb with red fruits and rich marmalade.

Palate: Fresh red grape, ripe gooseberries, and a dusting of muscovado sugar.

Finish: Delicate orange blossom lingering.
