The basis of the character of the Glenfiddich Grande Couronne is laid by a very long maturation in American and European oak barrels, followed by a 2-year post-aging in ex-cognac barrels.
Aromatic and lively in scent with aromas of sweets and toasted oak. Give this whiskey plenty of time to develop in the glass and discover refined scents of freshly baked Tarte Tatin and buttery choux pastry. Your senses are, as it were, taken on a journey to a French patisserie. Silky smooth flavors immediately stand out on the palate. Sweets, hints of café crème, brown sugar and a hint of spice complement each other and lead to a long, sweet finish in which oak influences can also be found. Very limited stock available.
