This creates a darker, denser, or waxier whisky, with significantly richer flavors.
900 Pure Malt: Chief's Son 900 Pure Malt 60% is sourced from the same 900 Pure Malt barrels as the 45% abv, at 60% abv this whisky smells like an old-fashioned lolly shop and drinks like a smooth alcoholic boiled fruit lolly. No other way to explain it.
900 Sweet Peat: Chief's Son 900 Sweet Peat 60% like all of our 60% abv whiskies, the massive quota of oils, esters, and flavors lift this whisky into another league.
