The selection of organic virgin oak used by Benromach for maturation plays a vital role in achieving the perfectly balanced flavor profile of this Organic Speyside whisky. Since 2006, Benromach has been committed to meeting the rigorous standards of the UK Soil Association for sourcing all ingredients, as well as the processes of distillation, maturation, and bottling to achieve Organic Accreditation. Maturation takes place in organic, virgin American oak casks, resulting in a creamy and robust whisky with hints of natural sweetness, subtle herbal undertones, and a touch of spice. This medium-bodied whisky leaves a lingering finish of aniseed and cocoa powder.
