Smoke Season celebrates the time of year Benriach revives the tradition of running its stills with peated spirit. This special edition has a high ABV to provide a pronounced peat character. Made with 100% peated Benriach malt barley at 45 PPM, Smoky Ten & Smoky Twelve blend unpeated and peated spirit to create a whisky of 25 PPM. Maturation in virgin oak and bourbon casks imparts a toasted sweetness to the whisky, enhancing its smoky sweet flavour.
