With a ruggedly beautiful location on the site of the old Riach farm in north Speyside, the distillery draws water from a mineral-rich aquifer deep beneath its grounds. The whisky makers at Benriach follow a long-standing tradition of distilling three styles of whisky, allowing them to explore a wide range of flavor possibilities. Master Blender Rachel Barrie, drawing upon decades of experience, has expertly combined rare malts and fine casks from around the world to create Benriach The Forty. The result is a deep bronze-colored whisky with rich fruity notes of honeyed pomelo, ripe stone fruits, and dark chocolate, as well as a hint of walnut from Portuguese port casks.
