Itkul Distillery (est. 1868) - the home of Beluga vodka - relies on malt spirit made from malted wheat rather than grain mixtures to create their product. This wheat reportedly contains enzymes that naturally ferment the drink, eliminating the need for additional ingredients. After five distillations, the vodka is then enriched with rice and golden root (rhodiola rosea) extracts, a practice traditionally unique to each producer. Packaged luxuriously and containing a small wooden hammer and brush to aid in seal removal, this product is a truly special sight.
