At seventeen years old, this rum is already showing some serious maturity. It's been aged in bourbon casks and then finished in an x Ferrand Cognac cask for two years before being moved to an Ocho Tequila cask for one final year. That's a lot of aging for a rum that's only 44.8% alcohol by volume.
But what does it taste like? You'll get notes of molasses and tropical fruit when you first sip it, with hints of spice that linger on your tongue long after you swallow. It's incredibly smooth—you'll want another sip as soon as you finish your first glass!
