Batch 18 of Glendronach's single casks have finally arrived. Eighteen casks dating from 1990 to 2009 have been personally selected by Master Blender, Dr Rachel Barrie. Australia's allocation consists of five sweet and rich Pedro Ximinez Sherry matured expressions and two nutty and dry Oloroso sherry matured expressions aged between eleven and thirty years old. Aimed at showcasing a different aspect of Glendronach's house style - from robust, fruity and full-bodied to at times elegant, all are bottled without chill-filtration for richness, at high strength and are naturally deep in colour. Only 494 bottles are available worldwide.
