Yamazaki is widely regarded as "the pioneer of Japanese whisky" and, with 1923 being its inception, is Japan's oldest and first distillery. Located at the edges of Kyoto and surrounded by diverse climatic conditions and misty mountains, the area's unique environment was deemed to be ideal for whisky aging. Yamazaki 12-Year-Old expresses a refined and distinct taste, characterized by aromas of ripe fruits, sweet vanilla, and underlying hints of sherry and mizunara cask-aged whiskies, all coalescing into a flavor experience that will not disappoint.
