This unique variety's bright red flesh eliminates the need for the skins and juice to extract color and flavor before pressing. It is one of few varieties worldwide that display this distinction. Rockford has always been devoted to traditional Barossa varieties, but for over 25 years, this exceptional grape has enabled them to produce a low-alcohol, full-flavored, and approachable wine.
The wine itself is an excellent reflection of the best of Alicante – fresh, generous, aromatic rose-style wine that is lower in alcohol with cherry and strawberry flavours. It is best served chilled.
