This special Rum has been aged in small 225LT French Oak Casks, formerly used for high-quality Hunter Valley Shiraz, imparting a robust oak & dark fruit flavor, along with vanilla & baking spice nuances accumulated during its three-year maturation period. Further complexity comes from three months' finishing in 500LT American Oak Tawny puncheons, adding hints of sweetness, oak, raisin, maple and candied fruits.
