Established in 1890 by brothers Herbert & Frederick Kay, the Kay family has dedicated over 130 years to caring for the Amery Vineyard.  The wine has been aged for 12 months in a blend of French, American, and Eastern European oak, resulting in an impenetrable, inky black color with hints of deep red and black. On the nose, you'll find rich aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice, and dark plum, complemented by toasty vanillin oak, earthy dark chocolate, and pepper notes.
