Jefferson's Reserve is matured for fifteen years. As a result, by the time a barrel is opened, over 50% of the bourbon has evaporated ( known as the ‘angel's share.’) Following maturation, barrels are hand-selected and then mingled in very small batches of approximately one dozen barrels per batch. Final blending takes place and each bottle from each respective batch is individually numbered.
Full-bodied and balanced. The aroma of dates, cinnamon, and raisins. Full-bodied with notes of pears and a long finish.
