Diplomatico Rum Reserva Exclusiva is the rum that most connoisseurs consider the standard by which all others are judged. Complex and smooth to the point of elegance it is produced from both molasses and sugar cane honey in a combination of kettle, copper pot and columns stills and aged for a minimum of 12 years in small Spanish and American oak casks. Diplomatico Rum Reserva Exclusiva has a lively aroma with citrus and liquorice notes against a maple syrup background. On the tongue, dark chocolate, toffee and fudge join the flavour parade. A true sipper, it is best experienced neat but a small amount of ice or splash of water isn't out of the question.
