Barbados is the birthplace of rum, with the spirit first being distilled and blended here approximately 400 years ago. Today, the art of perfecting high-quality rum is still alive. At Bumbu Rum Company, handcrafting is an integral part of the process; sugarcane is sourced from 8 countries across the West Indies and South America. Our rum is then aged for up to 15 years, creating an optimum level of balance, smoothness, and depth of flavour. Our rum was recently awarded a Gold Medal by the 2018 Melbourne International Spirits Competition, making it a top of the line product.
